Headbones cost £99.99 significantly less than the several thousands of pounds that most clinical bone conduction devices. This is because Headbones was not designed to be a clinical device, nor do we state that Headbones are a hearing aid device; they are hearing enhancement device which we have discovered, via customer feedback, to allow hearing to be restored.
Customer comments with hearing impairments:
"So my friend who has been suffering with a variety of ear problems (latest including a persistent and very loud high-pitch ringing in one of his ears that doctors cannot fully diagnose) tried on the Headbones last night. The look of pure joy as the sound reached him via a pathway that is apparently not affected was wonderful. Needless to say, he took my pair with him..."to try out some more." Great job! Now if only I could get my set back soon. :)"
Mark Scott: "Life Changing. No word of a lie, the Headbones have changed my life! Having suffered from single side hearing loss for 6 years I have followed the Headbones development with interest. I placed an order and they arrived in 2 days. I charged them up, paired them to my iPhone and sat in amazement as I heard the music from both sides. Highly recommended for anyone but do check with your ENT consultant to see if these are suitable for any existing hearing loss."
The Yorkshire Post published an article on how Headbones have helped a 14 year old hear in stereo for the first time in his life. Read this article here and watch the video at the top of the page.

Can Children Use Headbones?
Yes. If you watch the video below you will see Timmy, a two year old boy, who was born with Anoxia and microtia and you can clearly see that he is listening to music and towards the end he starts moving his arms in time to the beat of the music. This allows Headbones to be used in the same way as products like the Baha Headband, and does not require surgery like an implant.
No more wires and up to 8 hours of playback time, or 300 hours standby time before the need to recharge. A visual battery level will indicate the charge level of the battery on supported devices such as an iPhone. Audio prompts let you know what state Headbones is in, whether connected, out of range or running out of power. We have utilised Bluetooth Multipoint which allows you to connect two devices at the same time, like two phones, and Headbones will automatically connect to the right phone when a call comes in.
For those who intend to work up a sweat when using Headbones, we have made sure that Headbones will support water resistance up to IPX5 rating. This gives you the freedom and flexibility to carry out sports safe in the knowledge that sweat or water drops aren't going to damage your Headbones.
